Sanyo Launches 40Mw, 635Nm Visible Laser Diode

Sanyo's new 40mW, 635nm wavelength visible laser diode is now available
in the UK from Photonic Products. The DL-LS1037 is claimed to have 15%
more output power and visibility than its nearest rival. The device is
easier to use outdoors, where bright sunlight can be a problem when
attempting beam alignment. It is also useful in machine vision
applications that require a clearly visible line.
